About the INCOSE-IEEE International Workshop in Systems Engineering Research

Introduction

The 1st International Workshop in Systems Engineering Research is an international one-day workshop on systems engineering co-organised by the INCOSE French Chapter AFIS and IEEE International, with technical co-sponsorship from IEEE Systems Council, IEEE France SectionIEEE France Section Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Chapter.

The workshop will be held in Toulouse, France, at La Cité, 55 avenue Louis Breguet, on January 14, 2026, jointly with the INCOSE French Chapter AFIS annual congress.

General Expectations

Papers submitted in response to the open call for papers will undergo a formal peer-review process for acceptance. We expect submissions to clearly articulate new and significant contributions and place them in the context of the existing literature. Accepted papers will be presented at the workshop. Inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library is subject to meeting IEEE quality standards; IEEE reserves the right to decline publication of conference proceedings that do not fulfill these requirements.
